J ust like her name Juhi, she looks delicate and fresh. I still remember in 1993 when I watched her “Hum hai rahi pyaar ke” from that time I love her bubbliness, her giggling and her way of speaking through her eyes.  

Born in Ambala, Haryana on November 13, 1967, and graduated from Sydenham College, Mumbai with a specialization in HR. 

1984, she won title of Femina Miss India and crowned by diva herself Rekha ji from Bollywood fraternity 

and then won Best costume in Miss Universe,

In 1988, her first big hit Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, in which she starred with Aamir Khan and won hearts of all Indian with girl next door image and her great talent and both looked so charming on screen pair and she won  Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year and received her first nomination for Filmfare Best Actress Award.

In 90’s she was one of the most successful actresses of the industry with major hits like  Pratibandh, Swarg, Bol Radha Bol, Raju ban gaya Gentelman, lootere, Hum hain rahi pyaar ke, daar, nazayaz, Ishq, Yes Boss, Dewana Mastana, Arjun Pandit, Mr & Mrs Khiladi and many more. 

She won first Filmfare for Hum Hain rahi pyaar ke for best Actress. Her on-screen chemistry was much appreciated with perfectionist Aamir Khan and she paired with many top actors of 90’s including SRK, Akshay, and Sunny deol.

She made a full-fledged comeback in 2014 with the heavily hyped woman-centric Gulaab Gang alongside her once arch rival Madhuri Dixit. Her negative role in the film was widely appreciated and her performance earned rave reviews.

Juhi Chawla is married to industrialist Jay Mehta. The couple has two children: a daughter Jhanvi born in 2001 and a son Arjun born in 2003.

Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla are the co-owners of the Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders in partnership with Shahrukh Khan under their company Red Chillies Entertainment.
