Gulshan Kumar born on 5 May 1956, in Delhi to a juice vendor Chandrabhan Kumar Dua.
From a family who was fully devoted to Lord Shiva, Gulshan Kumar also very much follower of Lord Shiva. He started his own cassette business with the name “Super Cassettes Industries,” in Noida and later shifted to Mumbai as it grows.
In 1983, his Super Cassette Industries Private limited started doing business as T-Series as a music record label and film production company.
With first Bollywood Movie in 1989, Lal Dupatta Malmal ka and blockbuster hit in 1990 Aashiqui marked his name in Golden words and never to look back again.
Being 90’s child I still remember my passion for collecting cassettes and listening to music on my walkman, all cassette majorly comes with T-Series and I’m sure many of my readers can relate to that era.
Hit movie songs with T-series like Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi till new talented pop and amazing singers reached every home with albums like Deewana of Sonu Nigam.
Today T-Series holds great name and doing amazing work for the music industry but the maker of this empire Gulshan Kumar shot death on 12th August 1997 outside Jeeteshwar Mahadev Mandir in Andheri, Mumbai.

The man who is versatile, a self-made man in this Bollywood industry and a perfectionist is playing a character of Mr. Gulshan Kumar. Aamir Khan who already played real-life hero on a big screen like Mahavir Singh Phogat in Dangal now all set to play Mogul as Gulshan Kumar.
Aamir Khan not only playing a lead role but also producing Mogul with Bhushan Kumar and this is directed by Subhash Kapoor. Released date yet to be announced.
