Manikarnika

Manikarnika, as I heard this flick is hitting on the silver screen soon, It took me back to my school days when we recite a poem and learned about great queen we all admire and feel proud.

Sinhasan hil uthe rajvanshon ne bhrukuti tani thi,
Budhe Bharat mein bhi aayi fir se nayi jawani thi,
Gumi hui aazadi ki keemat sabne pehchani thi,
Door firangi ko karne ki sabne mann mein thaani thi.

Chamak uthi san sattavan mein, veh talvar purani thi,
Bundele harbolon ke munh hamne suni kahani thi,
Khoob ladi mardani veh to Jhansi wali rani thi.

Few people we can never forget in life and Rani Laxmi Bai is one such great queen of India who showed that women can not only take care of home, state but also can fight for her country.

Needs no more introduction who and how she changed so may thoughts and perspective towards life.

Manikarnika- Must watch a flick.
