P reemies are early delivery by God as he wants to bless us with some special angel !! And so we were among that chosen one.
Viraj, Miracle boy born in the 25th week, preemie was born today, two years back.
After fighting in the hospital with all odds he came back home in this box and we just took some precautions to make him strong to fight back.
Some quick tips to take care of your preemies at home:
- Correct temperature: Make sure in whichever room you are planning to settle your heartbeat, the temperature should be according to his/her requirement.
- Keep an eye on his sleep as Apnea is very common in preterm babies. Apnea is a condition in which premature infants stop breathing for 15 to 20 seconds during sleep.
- Fewer visitors is best for your naughty one This is the time when you have to really boycott yourself from social gathering and even in-house welcoming guests.
- Give all your love, care and keep your pediatric number saved in emergency and NICU number too.
When we got him home after 2 months we announced his arrival only on social media and said sorry that we are not welcoming guests at home for some time.
Today, again we want to thank each and everyone for giving us their blessings and emotional support in toughest time of our life. Thanks to docs & staff of NICU, Bethany Hospital, Thane for giving us life back.
And for you my dear VIR,
Aim high, Goal high,
You can get success if you dream high,
Remember, just three things in life,
Positive attitude can give you strenght,
hard work will pay your deeds,
& family will stand by in need,
Just don’t leave these three,
And God will himself help you to go through
