Chartered Accountant

One of the most in demand and tough career option is of chartered accountant, but if you are fond of maths and data this is the right career option for you. A professional course CA, or Chartered Accountancy, covers financial analysis, auditing, taxation, and accounting of businesses.

The ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) oversees the course’s operation. Three very important reasons why this career option should be opted:

  1. Chartered Accounting provides a plethora of versatility.
  2. The field of CA is secure and dependable.
  3. A global career can be attained through chartered accounting.

CA is divided into three levels, with three years of practical training required after graduating from high school, for a total of around 4.5 years. After graduating from high school or college, one might pursue a career as a CA. Students need to pass three levels of ICAI tests.

Steps to follow after 10+2 for chartered accountant

STEP 1: Timeline for passing 12th grade to passing foundation level = 4 months * (Mandatory study period between registration and examination date is 4 months)

STEP 2: Timeline for clearing the Foundation level to the Intermediate level: 8 months * (Study period between registration and examination date is 8 month)

STEP 3: Timeline from passing Intermediate to passing Finals = 3.5 years * (Article ship period is for 3 years and preparation leave took to prepare for finals examination is assumed to be 5 months)

Difference between Chartered accountant(CA) and Company Secretary(CS)

Company Secretary (CS) has to advise the company on various fronts , while a Chartered Accountant (CA) takes care of budgets and finances of the company. CA are an expert in Accounting and Finance, while CS is an expert in Company Law and Corporate Governance.
