Budding Writers Writing Challenge – #YoungPenTalks 2022

Every child learns at a different pace and few habits don’t develop overnight, reading and writing are among one them. Being a parent, I understand the importance and requirement of both these skills, but that child needs to be motivated in the right direction.

On one hand, reading enhances concentration, vocabulary, and even knowledge, whereas writing offers children a blank canvas to fill with the color of their imagination of words.

Things which a child learns while writing:

  1. Creativity and imagination will let them explore more words to put across their thoughts.
  2. There are kids who are less expressive while speaking, but when it comes to writing they express themselves beautifully. Let them be expressive of their thoughts with their writeups.
  3. Writing also helps in critical thinking as to write you need to write thoughts and words in a particular order.
  4. It helps them to develop decision-making skills.
  5. They learn to be organized as while writing, they will follow the structure of writing from introduction to body part and conclusion properly.
