Both vegans and non-vegans are mostly protein deficient. This is a common problem among Indians. 68% of Indians suffer from health disorders related to protein deficiency. And this is not only among the population below poverty line but also in middle and upper class of society. Sometimes due to lack of knowledge about food value and sometimes due to in-proficient food habits such deficiency occurs.

Poor muscle health, deformed growth, and many other deformities are the outcome of protein deficiency. Soy Protein is the best environment-friendly and health-friendly food that is easy to make, tasty to have and is rich in essential amino-acid, minerals and vitamins. It is highly economical and environmentally sustainable.

Soy = Milk+ Egg+ Meat

It is the only plant protein that has enriched food value. It is superior to milk, meat, and egg. Less water, less energy, and less land capacity are required to cultivate it. It has reduced impact on the earth as releases fewer greenhouse gases. With a variety of food products array, soy is well addressing the demand of the age. It is commercial and has a low carbon footprint. It keeps carbon down due to low emission and thus supplies amino acid in adequate amount.

Director of Department of Nutrition at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Kathy McManus stated that “It’s high in polyunsaturated fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and low in saturated fat. Natural soy products — like tofu or edamame — could replace red meat and other animal sources of protein rich in saturated fat,”
