Normal Mom of a Miracle Boy- #MujheSabNahiPata

#MujheSabNahiPata

“Life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a mother”

Really!! Do you believe this? I agree, being a Mom is the wonderful experience and journey for any woman, but hey being a mom doesn’t mean I AM A GOOGLE!!

I am a mother of two adorable kids and trust me both are my heartbeats but yes there were situations and times when I wanted to shout on a high pitch and tell world “Dude!! Mujhe Sab Nahi Pata”.

Recently I got chance to attend an event filled with moms like me who have different stories of their journey organized by ALL OUT a really special campaign which shares the same chord of mine that its good to be tough and speak out that yes #MujheSabNahiPata.

It was indeed a pleasure and great learning listening to the most wonderful and knowledgeable panelists Mrs. Sonali Bendre (Actress and Author), Dr. Samir Dalwai (Pediatrician), Dr. Rupal Patel (Psychologist), Mrs. Ruchita Dar Shah (leads the mommy community First Moms Club on FB).

Sonali Bendre shared her experience about motherhood where she was being judged many times by society and even Ruchita too shared the same about it.

#MujheSabNahiPata

Dr. Samir shared his experience too saying that it’s tough being a mom and be vigilant but it really need support and that support should be from father and he mentioned that today fathers are also taking equal responsibility for kids growth and health.

He explained how dengi, Malaria is dangerous and we should be careful for this, We should not overlook the symptoms, if your kid is suffering from fever and he/she is not active even after the fever goes down, don’t get confused with normal fever.

Fever with joint pains, weakness, dullness, rashes are alarming and you should visit your doctor immediately. We normally think Dengue mosquitoes only grow in satnding water, No!! It could be in clean water too. So, you have to be very careful.

Beautiful video of All out #MujheSabNahiPata was shown to us and wow…it touched me to the core and I feel it is maybe a story of every second mother in the world which took me to the memory lane.

#MujheSabNahiPata

Who said after becoming mother social and family pressure starts … No!! It begins from the time you conceive and announces your pregnancy!!

My #MujheSabNahiPata Experience

In 2014, when I told my family that yes..I am going to be Mom for the second time all kind of suggestions and gyaan started flowing from everywhere. I followed them too, but my doc said: “Ruchi you need proper bed rest due to some initial complications”.

I called my in-laws and went on proper bed rest as I really don’t want to take any chance. Week 24th and my baby was too active inside not even make me rest. I used to cry and tell I can’t sleep even. All used to tell me..”Its good baby is active”.

It was 2nd April my husband was out of town (It’s a long way to go for delivery) and I was with my mom and early morning I told my mom we need to go to the hospital now. It’s just my 6th month going on… we rushed to the hospital and the doctor admitted me for observation. I called back my husband saying not feeling good, he tried to tell me to stay calm as all will be fine and he will be back any moment.

My water bag got raptured and full water got discharged. I delivered my little Miracle boy in 25th week and doctors told us that hopes are less but he survived like a fighter.

#MujheSabNahiPata

But, I faced everyday n numbers of questions from everyone who ever comes to meet me or call me “ What have you done? Why delivery so early? Have you picked something heavy? Have you gone out? Have you driven?

I was tensed in the same way for my son or maybe more than anyone … I planned my baby and took every good precaution I really don’t know what happened!! I was on the same stage not knowing how things turned this way.

It’s not only when you become a mother family, society or anyone starts questioning you it starts from the time you announce your pregnancy and trust me #MujheSabNahiPata

Today my son is a healthy and active baby..but still, even my liftman or watchman or even my maid tell me …Give proper meal he looks very thin? Why he is so thin? Why this ?? why that?? There are many questions whose answers even I don’t know why??

He is an active and healthy baby that matters to me, but society keeps me judging as he looks thin.

I give him proper diet and proper nutrients now it’s his body structure he is not gaining fat … now this should not be the reason to judge me as a mom …as I am a NORMAL MOM #MujheSabNahiPata

As we ended the session with tying a knot to remind myself to say loud when I don’t know anything and keep on sharing my experience to fellow moms so that we can learn from each other and make our motherhood more exciting and loveable journey.

Yes i have a “mujhe sab nahi pata” moment.
It was when i got my 2nd child. When i had only first one, everything was going fine and well. But after birth of my 2nd one, when my first one was only 3 yrs, my life took a roller coster ride. I was not able to balance between 2 kids, and home.
Then i got a call from school of my son. Teacher wanted to meet me. I went and was surprised to hear all complains about my son. Teachers were also seeing the sudden change in him. Beacuse i was becoming strict and a bit rude too in order to finish all my work. I didnt realised what effects it is pouring on my little one. #MujheSabNahiPata. I came home and cried… That i have failed in parenting. But then my neighbour came to me seeing me weeping and asked me to just give time to everything. Home chores, cleaning, its all not so important at this time. And moreover ask help from people near you. And all will get on track …
    And slowly it happened.

Amazing that the child was born in the 25th week and all went ok. Pregnancy is a jittery stage full of uncertainty and alas when the child is in your arms all stress n worries go away and you become so protective of the little bundle .

Wow, what an article. A big salute to you and your darling MIRACLE BOY for being such brave and fighting back the odds in the society! The answer to the question is your Miracle Boy was born on the 24th week (6 months of gestation) who is now a healthy and hearty individual. I wish you and him all the good luck and love. Do not listen to the society as it is rightly said ‘Ignorance is bliss’ ?

The miracle boy was born during 25th week of pregnancy.
Belonging from medical field I had treated many patients who were eager to have a child. Many used to enquire as to how many kids I had? My reply used to be non! They would further ask but why? I had to reply Mujesabnahipata! It was a very perplexing reply for them! Some were confused whether my treatment will bring any positive result for them! While some left my clinic wishing me good luck, providing empathy, while others said all is in God’s hand! It was during my 6 years of my marriage that I was blessed with bundle of joy in my hand . .my soulmate. . Our daughter!
Till then it was too tough in giving answers to all!
Nearly 80% of my patients were pregnant but I had to accept the grace of God till Luck favored me!
I must confess . . God knows what & when is best time for us & accordingly we are gifted!

A2) The miracle boy was born in the 25th week of Ruchis pregnancy.
Yes even I have faced many moments through out my LIFE, but I want to share my one of them with you….
When I was 15 years old and my PERIODS started. Periods, initially were really disturbing and irritating for me. I used to feel- “What and why it comes every month?” I had to go to school, tuition classes, dance class, phewwww… And apart from that I was in hostel and everytime I sat down, I had this tension of “What if I stain my dress in front of all the people?” Then came the problem of changing the pad every hour. I found it really difficult to cope up with this pressure. Than, the time came when one of my friend asked me – everytime you faced this problem .. why??
    Then I said kyunki #MujheSabNahiPata
    .
Then my MOTHER gave a tip which changed my thoughts about period. She told me the main reason behind this cycle and why it is important. From that day onwards, I pushed myself and decided to fight with it. Yes it is true that I stained my dress quite often but, I had this confidence that I CAN HANDLE THIS SITUATION.
And that is the day where I felt proud and signified to be a woman.

    .
No one person is perfect. Mistakes, just like water, are an essential part of life. It’s not for our faults that we should be judged, rather it’s the way we learn to accept our human nature and change for the better.
It has been 10 years I have been working with an airlines industry. Six years ago, there was a time when questions about my work began to arise.? Those questions broke me from inside, it seemed like I have no reason to work now.? I was started disliking my life.??
    And then I said #MujheSabNahiPata
For everything there is a reason.
Than I Realize my value, not the material one, the intrinsic one. ?
No matter how hard we try, we never seem to get everything exactly right. ??
    .
    Done answer on your blog…
I am wishing you a great happy birthday from the core of my heart… ?
