Mere papa the great

PAPA

Papa, whom I really wish to call and tell so many things daily. One person in life, my hero who has given me not only values but also the lesson of life how to carry my life on those values.

He never said NO to anyone in life and helped everyone with whatever he can. I feel proud that I am the daughter of such man who treated me as a daughter only and showed the world that he is proud that he has only daughters and he doesn’t feel sad about it.

I miss my papa a lot and wish God someday have some way to connect us.

My mom and papa both have given me perfect upbringing and I can never ever explain in words how much I love them. I was very close to both my parents and many time hurt my mom, you can read my apology to her.

One song which I want to dedicate on this fathers day to papa!!!

  1. #MerePapaTheGreat My dad is my real hero. In my childhood I was truly fascinated by stories of super heroes. Rarely did I know that Lord has also curated a super hero specially for me. He is the best man of the world. When the world gave importance to boy child, he prayed to be blessed with girl child. He educated me to the best of his capacity & made me a person who can stand against wrong on the basis of moral values injected by him. He is patient when I speak, he gives accurate advice when I need any, he cracks jokes, he comes with me for shopping as well!

He says I have made him proud, but I feel he makes me proud of his upbringing & hard work since my birth every minute.

He is a friend who always lend his shoulder to relax upon and share deepest secrets.

He is mentor who has not only given me bookish knowledge but also showed me a path to live life.

His guidance in any matter is always useful & never do I fail.

He is my super king who treats me as princess.

He is a father of whom every child would be proud of.

Though I express little you feel, though I am silent you can understand that you are bestest dad. I always remember how you tolerated my tantrums and never grunge over them. You have answered sillest of my questions. My little efforts were appreciated as best ones in this world. You are wind beneath my wings, you showed me right direction. You have been pillar of support in all good and bad times. You are architect of my personality.

On this special day I would like to thank you for all you have done for me and pray Lord to keep you always healthy & smiling.

  2. #MerePAPAthegreat My Dad is My Best Friend, my real Power, my strength, my lucky charm& the Best in everything . Hes the reason for all the smiles on my face & I’m the reflection of his Hard Work ? Hes the one who added colours to my life , taught me what love ,affection, focus and dedication are.. & always advised me to turn up into a rich person not by money but by Heart ?? In our country people are so biased to girl childs , but he’s unlike them. He provided me all comforts, freedom, education, courage & self confidence. I always rememeber my college days, particularly the day before my every main exams ? He used to be more tensed than me for my exams, stay awake with me the whole night giving me coffee& company ? Even now after becoming a mom of two kids,he treats me like a small kid & always just a phone call away from me. I’m so Thankful to my Dad for everything. Dad, You are the reason for what I am today and wish you a Happy #FathersDay. ?

Hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather.
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one father the world wide over!
My dad is super special because he is ALWAYS there for me, and has always been from the time I was but a little kiddo! Nomatter the day / time / reason – if I need my #Superman, he is there in minutes! Let me tell you of a special and my favourite memory because where he made me so proud & swooped in to be the hero: I forgot my project for school and I was totallyfreaked out because back in my day in Primary school there were no cellphones and my teacher was a terror so I was petrified because I knew she would shout at me and then my fear was that I would get a big fat zero for my project. Not knowing whatto do, I just closed my eyes, prayed to God and was going to face my punishment. Just at the very last minute before entering my class, in comes dad running with my project in his hand. He came up to me and kissed me on my forehead & said I am always there for you princess and will never let you down…my dad, my hero! At that moment, I felt such a sense of relief and there was also a warm, fuzzy feeling inside me knowing thatI can always rely on my papa to save the day!!! I was so proud that day because I had the bestest dad in the world, and until this day, many years later, he still is and will always be THEE BEST!

I would like to thank you to my papa on this father’s day for giving me such a wonderful life. My father is really such a nice person and I must say that he is a real hero for me. He is not a famous personality for the world, but for me, he is my whole world. I remember whenever I opened my eyes, I saw my father is working hard for me and my brother. My father got such a very beautiful heart. From my childhood, I always notice his helping nature. He visits orphanage and distributes lots of books and other things to the small kids. He always encouraged me by saying “TO DO SOMETHING FOR OTHERS, AND YOU WILL FEEL INNER PEACE”. Really, it works. I am the happiest daughter in this world because he taught me the way of living the life independently and happily. I would like to dedicate this message to my father on this father’s day

  8. #MerePapaTheGreat

It is indeed a pride to write about one’s daddy(especially the darling daughters’). As I stand on the threshold of life’s journey, I would love to share an inspiring yet irreplacable thought that he shared with me. ‘There is no substitute for perseverence, hardword, determination and passion for what you choose to do. If you love what you do, nothing else matters. All events don’t always turn out as you want them to. To win some, you have to loose some’, these words once said by him are just exceptional! Besides this, there are many such incidents which remind me of his tough yet fragile nature. His love, care and feelings for me cannot be compensated. Whatever I am today as a Medical student is all because of his painstalking efforts. He has always been my pillar of support. Words wouldn’t be adequate enough to express my gratitude toward my dad, my Popzee! Papa, you are amazing??? Hemant Parmar

My father is my first love, from holding out tiny fingers to holding our bicycle we all surely would have special memories associated with our fathers. These are the memories which we cherish forever. Fathers are always the unsung hero, their sacrifice always gets unnoticed. We all would have troubled our fathers a lot during childhood but they never miss a chance to bring a smile to our faces.
I am thankful to my father for everything in life. He is the biggest blessing in my entire life. I have always found his helping hand in every journey of my life starting from studies to learning car, he has made me a strong person. I remember an incident of my childhood when I was constantly falling from the cycle for the 5th time and then I was crying inconsolably, he took me aside and made me calm. He said a beautiful statement “I will be always there to hold you, go ahead”. My dad would have said this just to make me calm, but even after 30 years, I remember this line whenever I need to make a decision in life. He has always been there to hold me tight whenever I need the most, special during difficult phase.
My dad is and has always been my first love. He has always spoken the truth and help me to make the right decision in life. Dad has always guided me in the best direction on the road of life, he has shared his stories and struggles with me. My mother always envies the bond shared by us. Even after marriage, I still cry when I leave my dad’s place.
My childhood was not full of fairy tales and castles but my dad made sure that I am always treated as a princess. I have faced a lot of struggle when it comes to academics, I was never a bright student. My entire family used to make fun of me, but it was my father who always supported me saying education is not only about books.
He was the only one who recognized my talent and gave me wings to fly. I was always good at writing stories and explaining it in details. He has always encouraged me to open my own blog. I always proudly say to everyone that my father is my first love, he always has shared his opinion with me. He is the first person to share his constructive criticism with me.
His primary motto in life was to make me independent. I am always thankful and grateful to him that he has made me an independent and self-made person. My father is an amazing storyteller with whom I have shared wonderful time. I take opportunity this father’s day to thank him for everything in life, starting from little motivating stories to encouraging me during my tough times. We have shared giggles, laughter’s, tears and tough times together. He has always helped me to overcome the tough times.

  10. #MerePapaTheGreat My dad has always been my best inspiration. He is a self made and hardworking man. Even withless resources, he managed to give a very good life to us. He never differentiated between a girl and boy and gave me all the facilities and freedom which many parent will give to his son only. Even now whenever I have any problems, I seek his advice which always works for me. So I can easily say, my Dad is my Hero

#MerePAPAthegreat Because My Dad Is My “LIFELINE” Words Are Not Enough To Describe My Feelings For Him.My Dad Always Been A Powerful Influence In My Life.I Want To Say That He Is The Biggest Reason I’ve Come This Far Today In The Journey Of LIFE.
I Don’t Tell Him Often,But I Really Love Him TOO MUCH.I Can Fight With The World Just For My Dad,And He Knows It.Nobody Really Matters To Me.Yes,Nobody Does When Its About My Dad Vs XYZ.
My Dad Always Been There For Me,Whether Its My Success Or Failure.Failure Is Something When Everybody Else Left Me But My Dad Always Stood With Me Not Just To Help Me But Also To Give Me More Strength,Courage And Positivity.I Still Remember When I Failed In One Subject In 6th Class,And When My Dad Came Home From Work I Told Him About My Result,He Was Disappointed But Still He Talked With Me Very Positively,My Dad Told Me To Never Give Up And Work Harder For The Next Time. This Is How My Dad Always Encouraged Me Instead Of Scolding Me.
Yes I’ve Let Him Down Many Times,But I Promise To My Dad & Myself That I Will Make Him Proud Just As Much.I Promise Him That I’ll Give Him Everything He Ever Desired For,I Promise To Never Give Up And I Promise To Prove To Him That I Am His Son.

Dad You Gave Me Life,Lessons Of Life And Hope,.You’re The Reason I Will Never Settle For Average.!!
    Love You.!!

  13. #MerePapaTheGreat Truly, there’s #NoneLikeDad
“One of the earliest memories of my dad is him trying to find me amongst a hundred other kids in kindergarten and me running away from him. Over the years it’s been lot of hide n seek but he has always found me. “THANK YOU DAD” I copied some of my dad’s traits like being extremely polite, workaholic, coming out of the shell to help others and his snoozing style. Lesson from Dad “Stay true to who you are and never let any guy step on your toes because you are a woman.” This is my dad and me on my first birthday! And ’cause you’re my Dad … I’m twice as blessed and lucky to be me. there is so much you have given me and made me feel proud everyway. My father has seen many failures in his Life but has never given up – Always “Hopeful” and always “Helpful”
A VERY HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO THE MOST AMAZING PERSON WHO HAS FOUGHT FOR ME AND NOW FIGHTS DIALYSIS LIKE A BOSS

  14. I was not very close to #MerePAPAthegreat until I got married. After marriage, I realised that I didn’t like if somebody made fun of him not even my real brother. That time I felt the love for him and started admiring his best qualities which I ignored for so many years.
He is such a calm person with tons of patience installed in him. He’s is always quiet and never reacts instantly if he disagrees to a particular situation.
When I got into difficult phases of my life, I came to know that I was deprived of all the necessary qualities to tackle the situation and be brave.
This had put me in a situation to learn many lessons from #MerePAPAthegreat. God always give quality things to us but we seldom appreciate them.

  15. From taking me to first day in school carrying me in his arms, helping me to ride n learn bicycle for the first time holding me and the cycle both at the same time, rewarding me chocolate when I received gold medal for the first time in my studies, taking me to my office on my first day to the office, i cherish all those first days of my life which were made special by my father by accompanying me on those special days and making me an independent person….and for me, my dad is my SuperHero of this world because he is very supportive, caring, and above all a nice person. He has been a constant source of inspiration for me all through my life. The best thing I LOVE about my DAD is his never-dieing attitude. The best advice my father gave me “Try, try, and try till you succeed. One should never ever lose hope.” I have faced lots of rejections and difficulties in my life but, this saying of my father has always been a driving force for me, because of which I believe that I can do it and I do not lose hope and I keep on trying till the time I accomplish what ever need be…. At one point of time, I thought I can never succeed in life and went into depression then, mere Daddy ne mujhe samjhaya ki jaise ek choti si chiti(ant) diwaar par chadti hai phir gir jaati hai, phir woh chadti hai, phir gir jaati hai, phir woh chadati aur phir woh chadna shuru karti hai toh chadti hi jaati hai, ussi tarah se, hame bhi koshish karte rehna chahiye, jab tak hame apni manzil, goal na mil jaaye. Daady ki is guidance ki Try, try, and try till you succeed and one should never ever lose hope not only changed my thinking but also made me an independent and positive thinking person. He always tells me that don’t lose hope….always hope for the best and things will be better in no time…..and to express to gratitude to the SuperHero of my life, I have composed a little poem for him and made hand made card Fathers day for him

Oh My Dear Dad, U R My Hero,
Following your footsteps, my tensions gets zero!

U hold my finger taught me to walk,
U became my teacher, guide and guard!

    When life’s problems were bright,
Your advice came like a sunshine!

U r my hero my pride,
On your back let me again ride!

Your inspiration takes away my fear,
I Love U alot, my daddy dear!

  17. #MerePapaTheGreat “They say that from the instant he lays eyes on her, a father adores his daughter. Whoever she grows up to be, she is always to him that little girl in pigtails.”
I´ve always believed that behind every strong woman, there is not just another strong woman but also a supportive man. The greatest gift that my father gave me was to never make me conscious of the fact that I was a girl. I was never told that girls cannot do this or that I have to behave a certain way owing to my gender. I hail from a village where people feel that a male child is more worthy to have and despite opposition from my grandparents & other relatives, he empowered me with the best education & raised me as an independent individual, who is never afraid of challenges. One thing that I learnt from my father is to Always do good deeds and keep helping others. He always told me that this world is a good place to live because of the good people. As a child, I always resented his helping nature because people used him for their own selfish needs, took him for granted but he kept on helping others and doing good deed for all. Two years back, he had a fatal heart attack and was pronounced dead but miracle happened and he came back to life. He needed platelet transfusion. we tried for two days but none of the donor was suitable and we had lost hope. On the third day a stranger said that he wants to donate. He donated and I came to know that many years back, my father had helped him immensely and given him a job and when he got to know of him, he came to donate. After this incident, I truly believed that Good things always come back and we should never stop doing good.

An Ode to My Dad is my Superhero through my self written poem

Superman, Spiderman, Batman are all Superheroes,
But in front of you Dad, they are big Zeroes,
You taught me how to stand Tall,
Picked me up on every Fall,
When I was ill, you stayed awake all Night,
Sitting beside me or holding my hands tight,
When skies were grey, you took all problems in your stride,
and never forgot to give me a piggyback ride,
Even when your schedule was choke a full,
You still played with me and kept your cool,
You taught me to never give up a Fight,
    If it’s a matter of someone’s Right,
You taught me to love the humanity,
And never to treat anybody with disparity,
You always went an extra Mile,
    Just to see me Smile,
I never had to look around; for you were always there,
With your loving touch, pampering and care,
Your ways to be Happy and Nice,
Made me what I am today and also Wise.

  18. #MerePapathegreata Would start with, thanking papa for showing me the world thru his

    and sing to me

#MerePAPATheGreat I am what I am today cause my dad taught me the righteousness of a PEN. I can’t remember the numerous times he kept uttering
The Pen is mighter than the sword.

And he was so true. Circumstances did not give him a schooled education but that did not stop my Dad. He used to read in his spare time, gather knowledge n dispense it to his kids. He used to pick our books educated himself and then tutor us patiently. He taught us how to use a strong weapon WORDS(Pen) correctly and methodically. How to use the right vocabulary, how not to use unkind or hurtful words but using this non violence tactic how to get the desired output. This lesson from him has attributed to my success, from being a personal assistant to a CEO of a multi national firm to blogging, free lancing, writing reviews n journalism.

A very recent small incident to site, a few days back I purchased a cake from a five star resort in my town but was shocked when I received it as it came in a very ordinary looking box with no credentials to the resort and it was packed in a tattered condition. It was a disgrace to their reputation and prestige. Thanks to my dad I learnt how to communicate and I very nicely put my thoughts across in a private message to the company. A few days later, I had the GM of the company calling to thank me for the honest feedback and bringing it to their attention. He also thanked me for not defaming them over social media which was the norm that folks tend to do nowadays. A measure to have proper packing was taken up the following week and they now have a wonderful presentation to gift their delicacies to their customers.

Thanks to you Dad I learnt the right usage of the power of WORDS from you.

Im just 12 years.so my feelings for dad are simple. To start with u holded my fingers and made me walk. Then as a guru u helped me in learning.I have seen u sacrificing ur dreams for mine.I have seen u wearing torn clothes and getting me new one.I have seen u giving ur food to me so that my tummy is full.U have done more than what u can do.U r like a soldiervto me who protects me from everything and sacrificing his life.U never show what u have done to me.But yez ur love is always unsaid.U never say what u have done for me and in return u just ask for is a smile.
Ty for everything wil try to make u proud.Live u papa.

  21. #MerePapaTheGreat kyuni papa sirf yeh bolte aaye h bachpan se “Ki itne kaabil ban jaao ki bas kabhi kisi ke saamne haath naa failaana pade balki sab ko aage bhaad bhaad kar help kar sako…. Aur sirf papa hi aise insaan h duniya mein jo chahte h ki hum unse jyaada jyaada kamaayeee….”‘
    Love u Papa

  22. My Dad Sudhir Jadhav is the most special person in my life. He is the one who never showed me the way, instead taught me how to search for it myself. He created an environment of enthusiasm for learning, appreciation for growing, and room for making mistakes along the way. I found guidance, friendship, discipline and love, everything, in one person. And that person is my Dad. He has inspired me to do better in life and guided me all throughout. His aura is such that nobody can ignore his presence. He is traditional yet modern, fragile yet strong, vulnerable yet bold, soft yet blunt, he is the fusion of the two extremes. I know he is the one person I can count on no matter what. He is the one who showed me how valuable our relationship is by always lending me a shoulder to cry on and always finding the key to solve my problems. He battled with my tough times, and shielded me from everything that harmed me. He has done so much for me, keeping my wildest secrets, supporting me, giving me confidence and just being there when I needed. I will always remember the tough times we went through, but what I will remember most are the times when we laughed so hard tears came rolling down our faces. Words will never be enough to say how much I love him yet I want to say that he is the most precious person in my life and will always be. If he lives to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so that I never have to live without him. Dissolving problems like the setting sun, helping me see beyond my goals, patting my back when I needed it the most, guiding me in the most unthinkable situations. So many memorable moments, One Rockstar..My Dad. I thank and salute him from the bottom of my heart for all that he has done for me..!!

  25. He was there when I didn’t understand, he was there when I was wrong, he was there when I cried, he was there when I lied. For some reason my dad was always there, when I needed him the most. My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.

  26. #MerePAPAthegreat My father is my real superhero. He is my best friend, my guide, my teacher and my pillar of success. He has groomed me to what I am today. He has guided me in the right path, held my hands and supported me when I fell weak. He is very kind and down to earth in nature and has always taught me to be kind and gentle in nature. He has invibed in me the values of humanity and generosity. He is the tree who sheltered me during tough times. He has morally supported me and believed in me more than myself. I want to thank you papa for what I am today is all because of you. I cannot think of a single day without you. I love you papa and I can do anything to bring smile to your face. I feel blessed to have you in my life.

  27. #MerePAPAthegreat Whether it was learning how to ride a bicycle or cracking that almost impossible trigonometry problem, or even being taught how to swim by being thrown into the deep end! I have a lot to thank my father for. Not only for the skills he taught me and the confidence he built in me, but also for all those unspoken values he helped me and my brother imbibe, just by being himself.I am inspired because he told me failure is pillar of success. He always said to me to see the bright side of life not the dark side. He taught me how to live happy in adverse conditions and how to find out the solution of a problem. He always says me that don’t worry I am here, when you are in trouble.I have been learnt so many things by them like how to achieve your goal step by step, keep sacrificing for others happiness, If your one try can make others life happy so you should go for it love everyone without hurting them. And keep learning trough your life. Always listen to your heart because the only one thing which is your true heart can see you the way of right path. My dad is not my Hero, he is my best friend. The one who understands me and someone who’s guidance has always taken me places. We have laughed on crazy jokes, spent hours talking about the Little Big things in life and partied enjoying the same kind of food! Thank you, dad, for being my father. Thank you, dad, for being just the way you are. Thank you, dad, for giving me each and everything I desired for. Thank you, dad, for understanding my point of views, raising me up the way a doll lives, making me feel like a princess, taking my side always, killing your time just for our happiness, for being so open-minded, giving me all the freedom others seek for. Thank you, dad, for everything. Thank you for existing. Thank you for being born. I may die just thanking you and loving you forever.

I love watching movies a lot. Spider Man is my special favorite all time. Time since I am watching these Super heroes in Movies I really wonder if there could really be a Super Hero in this world. And yes, every one has a Super hero who keeps revolving around them. The Living Super Hero of My Life is my Dad.

My Dad is a great hero for my brother and me. I have grown to what I am today by learning my only Super hero of my Life. My dad is a different personality who can easily inspire anyone. I love my Dad’s attitude. I have learnt positive attitude from my Dad. He is much concerned about our academics, health and happiness. He keeps working everyday without breaks; all that I know is he keeps doing so is because he can earn more so that we can be happy always.

My Dad has taught me to see Failures as the path to Success. Not even a single day I have seen him discouraged. He is my role model and I love to live by his morals. He is such a nice Dad that we have never got annoyed when he points out our mistakes. When I say such qualities about my Dad to someone, they admire my Dad. I am so proud of my Dad
my dad would tell me. “A man must always stand on his own two feet.”

He wanted me to be independent, strong, and be able to take care of myself. Yet every time I needed help, be it encouragement or an extra pocket money , my dad was always there.

When I worked at the university, he encouraged me to get my Masters, and when I graduated and decided to work in television, he told me to go for it. You know that feeling you have sometimes, where you know you can do anything?

I always have that feeling, knowing dad’s got my back if I need it. In fact, I can’t think of a single moment when my father made me feel bad about myself.

When I was young and weak, he taught me to play sports that were easy, like swimming, ping pong, and billiards. When I was sick, he would watch movies with me, and bring me new books to read.

He would praise every success like I had conquered the world, and encourage me to try again when I would fail. I’ve never regretted any part of my relationship with my father, or felt like he was anything short of perfect.

You know that feeling you have when you get older, where you realize your parents are people, and flawed just like everyone else?

    Not me.

My dad might not have a cape, or be able to fly, but he’ll always be my favorite superhero.

    I am like a flower,
    That is raised with,
    love by u.
    You help me grow up,
    big and strong.
Also giving me the liberty to take my decisions for myself and feel independent completely is a gift from u which helps me a lot & make me more confident .
    Dad,thanks for all you do.
    love u Dad..

#Merapapathegreat My father will always be my hero regardless of what happens to me in the future. He told me that nothing is impossible in this World He has always taught me to make the most of what I had. When I got married my father gave me the best advice for leading a truly happy married life and it was that whatever happens you should sort out the matter in your home and with patience and discussions any matter can be sorted out. Running away from problems is never a solution and one must try making little possible adjustment at all time.My Dad is the coolest and Best Dad in the World because He does less correcting & more connecting & more hugging & less tugging all the time with me.His love is really unconditional for me & He always make sure that I never do anything unethical & follow high moral values to lead a life with high self esteem. My Dad is my role model. My father possesses certain qualities that I admire. He is loving, caring, selfless, hard-working.He displays good moral values, and he has taught me important life lessons. Dad is a Daughter’s first Love and Hero .I know many people feel the same and why not?We all show our gratitude to our mother many times but how often do we tell our Dad that we are so proud to have a hero like Him?
I have always been pampered by my Dad and i have learned so much from him.
His patience , his efforts to keep his family happy and to understand the opinion of each member of our family, to keep everyone satisfied, to manage work and life perfectly , is all an example for me that i want to learn from.
He is a hero because he has always solved not only my problems but also any challenges that our family faces. He has taught me compassion, politeness, patience, dedication and so much more.
Always a leader and also a follower when the situation demands , he is truly the best Dad in the world!

    Mere Papa “The Great”

Jab main iss duniya mein aaya.
Sabse pehle mujhko goad mein aapne uthaya.
Apni ungli dekar mujhko chalna sikhaaya.
    Bolna sikhaaya mujhe hasna sikhaaya.
    Jab-jab dagmagaaya main raasto par,
    Aapne mujhko sambhalna sikhaaya.

Meri in aankhon ne to bas khwaab dekhe the,
    Usko haqeeqat aapne banaya.
Har raaste par mera sahaara banker har pal mera sath nibhaaya.
Jab kabhi bhi mujhe kisi dost ki zarurat padi,
    Aapne apna haath badhaaya.
Sayad main aapke bina kuch ban nahi pata.
Aapne hi to mujhe ek sadhaaran bacche se ek kaamyaab insaan banaya.

    Aapse hi mera naam hai.
Aap hi to mera jahaan hain.
    Mujhse aapki shaan hai.
Aapse hi to meri pehchaan hai.

I know it hasn’t always been easy for you to be my father, but I also know that he always done, and always do, your very best.
I think God put us in each others lives even before I was born. He knew I needed you long before I did. Maybe God knew you needed me too even before you did.
He helped me see who I want to be one day if I’m lucky and God continues to bless me.
He learned me patience, wisdom, and how to care for others. He taught me a lot about caring for ourselves too, although I know there are still plenty of lessons to learn.
I wish hia father could be here with us to celebrate too. I bet he’d be so proud to see the dad he is to me.
He is my best friend who always played with me and stand besides me when I have noone to support, He is mentor to me because He always guide me in my life, He gives me the liberty to live and when I takes a decsion about my life.. He always support…
So how I can not say that he is my true inspiration!!!

#merepapathegreat because dad always encouraged me when I would fail and gave me a hopeful confidence in me which gave me strength to keep on fighting and keep on doing better. If we churn past mistakes again and again it’ll do no good. He always tells me to learn from my mistakes. And so I always do. And never be afraid of taking the challenges and never fear of failures. Success comes to those who take risks. I also believe in it. He inspires me everyday. there’s no one like you papa. thank you for being there for me always love you ?

  39. #MerePapaTheGreat I grew up watching Superman, Spiderman, Batman and was I in awe of them?? No because I have my own super Hero, my SuperDad. Does he possess any of the super hero qualities? Yes and much more. He is a real hero with real super hero qualities. My growing up years was filled with awe inspiring incidents. My father is my super hero because he is my father but also my mom. He is my mentor, guide, hero, idol father, and mom all rolled into one. It is easy for a woman to play multiple roles but for a man it indeed takes superpowers and my dad played all the roles with aplomb. My mom was not keeping well, so my dad took her role and raised me & my sister singlehandedly. Managing long office hours, balancing it with running the household and raising us came naturally to him. How could he juggle everything with ease still amazes me. He could do anything, could fix everything and solve any problem. From dawn till midnight, he was on his toes, cooking yummiest food, helping in studies, teaching me how to plait my hair, riding a bicycle; instilling love for nature by going on treks with me, he was always there for me. He could do anything, could fix everything and solve any problem. Still remember an eve teasing incident, the stare that dad gave to the offender was enough to drive him a message for life that never to mess with anyone. When I got low grades in Math & many teachers failed to help me in getting good grades, he took it upon himself & right from the basics he started & made me fall in love with the subject & I was soon getting full scores. He came from a poor family & from an indescript village to a metro; he rose to high power & status through his hard work. According to him “There is no shortcut to success & hard work always pays.” I hail from a village where people feel that a male child is more worthy to have and despite opposition from my grandparents & other relatives, he empowered me with the best education & raised me as an independent individual, who is never afraid of challenges. When our house-help died in an accident, he adopted her child and showered her with equal affection & happiness as me & my sister. Adopting a child that too when one had two of own was considered a taboo at that time but he chose to ignore and followed his conscience. This indeed is superpower.
Thank you Dad for making me the person I am.

As he sits shinning way far away,
I look up to him everyday.
    His words of wisdom,
    I forget them seldom.
He gave me the precious gift of life,
He let me fly freely in the world like a kite.
Wings of confidence, did I not get them from him?
He would never let me sit with a face that was dim.
On this day, when I look back,
I see your footprints all through out my life track.
When I pause and wonder how will I march ahead without you…
Your teachings keep coming back to show the ways to do!
I thank Lord, he gave me you as my father
Dont need a word to express my gratitude, any further…
Love you and miss you “Dada”…

Seven years back my father, whom I call “Dada”, joined Almighty, as the Almighty needed a good company. I now have a guarding angel in heaven! Short poem above is my tribute to the most handsome, wonderful and charismatic man in my life, my father! He was a star and has become one now…#MerePapaTheGreat
