Handloom is one such amazing trend from India which is not only an interesting but also booming again in the fashion world.
Do you know what exactly handloom means?
This is such a pride of Indian heritage which too is explained in simple term, handmade textile industry. A handloom material is often woven on a shuttle-pit loom made from ropes, wooden beams, and poles.
Weavers who create such amazing creation gives their full dedication and it can be called as first make in India textile industry.
If I start thinking about handloom or khadhi clothing, I can think of highly educated and politicians who used to wear at some point in time, even journalists or media people, but then trend changed and this is adopted by almost by everyone.
There are so many varieties of handloom fashion available including from sarees, kurtas and even many shawls and much more trending in the market.
Sarees:
It takes around 3-4 days to weave one saree and it look so elegant, ladies used to wear such sarees for years and now this trend is back with a variety of designs and styles.
Kurtas:
Kurta’s are available in amazing designs and fabrics too from silk to evergreen cotton like in sarees.
Shawls or Duppatas:
This is something which you can carry with style and never fades on any occasion as they look really simple yet very elegant.
India is full of so much heritage and fashion within itself, we just need to more encourage and promote it.
