Eco Warrior- Jannat Mission Dal Lake

Dal lake, an urban lake the second largest in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This beautiful lake named “Lake of flowers”, ” Jewel in the crown of Kashmir” and even Srinagar’s Jewel”.

I remember I visited Kashmir long ago when I was just 8 years old. Now I wish to visit this beauty and heaven of India which is called “Jannat” again with my kids.

Today, I am going to share my next story of little Eco-Warrior Jannat who is just a small girl of 7 years and she has taken up the responsibility to clean and make dal lake clean and beautiful with challenges this lake face today because of pollution.

Dal Lake is one of the most fav shooting locations for Bollywood too, I remember two songs which picturized on this beautiful location was “Yeh chand sa roshan chehra” from Kashmir ki kali and one was from Mission kashmir ” Pani pe betha shikara, sapno ki duniya yahi”

Sharing her views on her Mission Dal Lake she told: “People should not litter Dal Lake and instead use dustbin for throwing waste.” which we all should understand making out lakes, rivers and environment dirty and in bad shape one day it will give back us the real bad result. We should promise to save our environment.

Her mission dal lake is an eye-opener for everyone she shared ” People, including locals and tourists, always throw different kinds of wastages, including chips covers, biscuit covers, disposables and water bottles that affect the beauty of Dal Lake. I want people to use the dustbins that have been installed around the lake”

Mission Dal Lake

Her only motive is to bring back paradise for everyone in India and the world so that people can enjoy the beauty of nature and her Mission Dal lake is just a step towards that.

She is so small and when this idea hits her she got unconditional support from her father, along with him she is taking care of her mission and trying to make dal lake clean.

Her efforts got noticed by honorable PM Shri Narendra Modi and he took his twitter handle and appreciated this commendable initiative of Jannat.

Mission Dal Lake

I wish Jannat all the best for this mission as she alone can’t make this happen you can connect with her on Facebook to contribute.

It’s really important today that we all should be more responsible for everything. It’s important to take care and educate about our environment, planting trees, keeping our rivers, lakes and other heritage clean and beautiful so that the coming generation learns and feels proud of us!!
