Kinesiology is the study of physical activity affects the body and our overall health and well-being. It is basically the scientific study of human movement comprising different topics, from biomechanics to motor control and development to exercise physiology.

  1. Kinesiology is an extension of occupational therapy and sports science. Since there has been an increase in students choosing professional sports are their careers, there is a need in India to develop specialised courses in kinesiology too.

    1. I totally agree Aesha, there are very fewer courses available and this needs to be introduced soon in other colleges and universities.
