If you notice, in all of my recipes, there is a secret ingredient – Ensure Diabetes Care. It is a diabetic specific supplement which helps in controlling blood sugar levels. By adding it, you can be rest assured that the diabetic patient under your care is getting nutrition as well.
This festive season let’s all enjoy the sweetness of togetherness with some mouth-watering diabetes-friendly desserts.

I have seen a couple of close family friends who have diabetes and they refrain from enjoying sweets. But with recipes, now they can also satisfy their sweet cravings. Reading about Apple Rabdi, it reminds me of Sanjeev Kapoor’s book.:) I often make Lauki Halwa , will add carrots to it from now on. I am sure the color will be very vibrant.
Oh my hubby wanted to try out the lauki halwa. Not sure if he has planned to put carrots in it. I’ll ask n show him this recipe for inspiration.
This is a revelation. I have used Ensure but I didnt know Ensure could be added to desserts or to any dish.I thought it was just a supplement to be taken with milk or water. My sasuma would make the lauki carrot halwa without any sweetener and have it as she was highly diabetic
