C hitrangada 1976 born, 40 years old born to a Hind family in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Graduated in Home Science (food and nutrition) from Lady Irwin College, New Delhi. She has received formal training in Kathak.
She came in limelight after performing in a music video Sunset Point by Gulzar and made her debut in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2003.
She acted in few movies but marked by her amazing acting like Yeh Saali Zindagi, I, Me Aur Main, and Desi Boys.
Chitrangada Singh was married to golfer Jyoti Randhawa and formally got divorced in April 2014. The couple has a son named Zorawar.
She is a brand ambassador for Airtel, Parachute, Puma, Borges Olive Oil, Garnier, Aliva Crackers, Taj Mahal Tea and Joyalukkas Jewellers. She also endorses Tata Group’s Tanishq and Titan Eye Plus.
Her upcoming film is of Girish Malik’s thriller movie Band Of Maharajas and in 2019 Sudhir Mishra’s Nawab The Nautch Girl and the John Company with Saif Ali khan and Irfan Khan this is a period film, a dark comedy set in 1857 Lucknow aginst the backdrop of East India Company, is the story of a Nawab and his obsessive love for a nautch girl played by Chitrangda Singh. The regal Nawab with a boyish charm is inspired by Wajid Ali Shah and Bahadur Shah Zafar. He has created a myth about himself of being a hero and now he must live up to it.
